Q: Do I need to pay for additional performances of live-performed pieces?
A: No, as long as you have a full score, you do not need to pay for additional performances.
Piece Policy
Full-Part Scores are a one-time purchase, and are yours to keep. You can perform this piece as many times as you desire.
For pieces with multiple instruments/parts, they are also a one-time purchase. In the event you need extra copies of a part, contact miles at milesplitemusic@protonmail.com. You must provide proof-of-purchase, this can be a photo of your score, or receipt. If proof-of-purchase is provided, Miles can send you any extra parts you need as PDF files, free of charge. If you do not/cannot provide proof-of-purchase, you must purchase the parts again.
Scores cannot be sent again; if you lose your copy, you must purchase a new score.
NOTE: Fixed media is a different scenario, please look at the FAQ for an explanation.
FAQ
Q: Do I need to pay for additional performances of fixed media?
A: Yes, you must pay for additional performances of fixed media. This will be a reduced cost of your first performance.
NOTE: This does not extend to live synth or fixed-media-elements, which fall under live-performed pieces.
Q: For pieces that contain fixed media or live synth, how can I purchase those?
A: For pieces that are entirely fixed media or live synth, please contact Miles at milesplitemusic@protonmail.com. Once you pay, you will be sent the score (if applicable) and a Google Drive folder containing all the things you need to perform it.
If the piece is for live-performance and fixed-media-elements, you can purchase the live-performance score; but, contact Miles at milesplitemusic@protonmail.com with proof-of-purchase, and they will send you the relevant files via Google Drive.
