“‘Ο Μπλε Οκεανός’”, translates from Greek into ‘The Blue Ocean’. This piece tells the story of a diver exploring the ocean and going on a journey. This piece aims to capture two core ideas: 1) The beauty, warmth, and life that the ocean has. And 2) The darkness, mystery, and terror that is also associated with it. The story begins with the diver facing the surface of the ocean. Then dives in and begins exploring. As they explore, the ocean becomes more and more alive. Soon encountering fishes and other oceanic life. As they continue exploring, they eventually swim so far down that they cannot see anything. They only feel otherworldly creatures moving the water, encircling them. One gets too close to the diver, and they start the swim back up to the surface, trying to escape the horrors that lurk below. They finally get back closer and closer to the surface. They remember the beauty they saw earlier and breach the surface. And all they hear is the ocean again. Slowly moving back and forth.
